Located right in the center of Beverly Hills, Cut is a restaurant, museum, and status symbol all rolled into one. This is not the place to go if you just want a salad. Best known for its steak cuts and seafood, Cut is really about meat. Well, meat and the chance to catch a glimpse of a celebrity or two (you know, because we don’t get enough of seeing their mugs plastered all over gossip magazines in the checkout line). Whether you’ll enjoy the place is dependant upon one specific factor: are you looking for a tasty meal, or an interesting experience? Because, seriously, for a few hundred bucks per person (more if you have alcohol) you could probably clean out an entire McDonalds and the Baskin-Robbin’s next door to it. Cut is a place that you can brag to your friends about, but it might not end up being the best food you’ve ever had. Just remember: you’re paying for the name as well as the meal.

2. Melisse

With a name that has become synonymous with poverty-inducing expensiveness, Melisse is one of the most lavish, high priced restaurants in the entire country. The restaurant has been nationally recognized and has won many different awards. The interior is modern and clean, and the service is generally exceptional. So what do you get for several hundred dollars in a restaurant in Santa Monica? Well, that really depends on you. The cuisine at Melisse is contemporary french inspired, but that’s only scratching the surface. The menu also regularly changes to reflect the current season. So if you find a favorite dish in August, it might not be available in December. And if the main seating area seems a little crowded, you can reserve private rooms (but not cheaply). Again, the food is good, but it might not end up being a couple thousand dollars-good.

3. Urasawa

Sushi-eaters know that raw fish wrapped in rice and seaweed can be pretty expensive. It’s not uncommon in your average sushi-bar to end up paying about $10 per bite. So, understand the implications when we say that Urasawa is one of the most expensive sushi restaurants in America. In fact, the average bill comes out to over a thousand dollars. Urasawa is world renowned for its super-fresh sushi (check to make sure it’s stopped moving before you swallow it), it’s artistically arranged dishes, and the fact that it’s currently being sued over labor violations. But as long as you’ve got the money, the desire, and you aren’t planning on taking a job there as a server, Urasawa can provide you with a night to remember for the rest of your life, which isn’t too shabby, considering that they don’t even have a website.

This is one of the best natural pools ever, located in Texas, 37 km west of Austin. This pool appeared due to the collapse of an old underground river and is nowadays surrounded by  impressive blocks of limestones that make the landscapes very poetic. But not as poetic as the stalactites that seem to be endless.

Next to that, there is a beautiful waterfall of about 50 foot high that seems to be always falling, even in the periods of high drought. Everyone, from tourist to local has access here and people are always excited to spend at least a couple of hours in this oasis of natural beauty.

Those who visit this natural pool will be surprised to see here beautiful, but also endangered  birds like the Golden-Cheeked Warbler. In addition to this, there is also wild vegetation like juniper, oak savannah, wildflowers, canyon mock-orange, red bay or chatter box orchid.
